Meet Our Team

Jeremy Tai Chew

Founder & Training Director

Jeremy Tai Chew is the heart behind Hakwai K9, serving as our Training Director with a passion for real-life dog training, health, and balanced living — for both dogs and their humans.

With hands-on experience across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean, Jeremy blends structure, purpose, and clear communication to help dogs and owners thrive in the real world — not just in training sessions. From leash reactivity to high-level protection work, his approach is practical, grounded, and results-driven.

What sets Jeremy apart is his focus on overall wellness. As a certified personal trainer, he brings a deep understanding of nutrition, physical health, and mindset, applying those same principles to canine development. Whether it’s optimizing your dog’s diet, building physical condition, or improving behavior through structure and consistency, Jeremy’s approach is always holistic and tailored.

When he’s not on the training field, you’ll find him geeking out on canine nutrition, refining fitness routines, or working dogs in dynamic real-world scenarios. His energy is contagious, his standards are high, and his goal is simple: to help you and your dog live your best lives — together.
